Hai Folks
Just a few quick heads up.
Shortly after coming over to Advance Gamers, pRn ran into trouble recruiting a 5th member and took action to improve their efforts, this however proved counter productive and resulted in the pRn team disbanding after several weeks of failed trials to recruit 2 new members.
The CoD4 team also had similar bad luck recruiting new players for the upcoming LAN event i42 which kicks off later today (thursday 21/04/11) with the doors opening around 6ish for early arrives. I (Ghostie!) will not be attending this event due to life commitments. MiB, staff0, walker and James will be attending under the Advance Gamers banner and are joined by LethalCleric and Chef, long time friends of several members of AG.
Its been a slow year so far here at AG but I’m hoping things will pick up and I have few things in the pipeline to help us along. I’ll give details at a later date once I get my head around everything and out of my ar*e. The site progress has been and will remain to be on a backburner until I can secure funding to update the theme and buy a new template. I will be adding more features to the site as I begin to put some of my plans into action so watch this space.
The WoW guild has also been put on a backburner considering MiB has moved on from WoW. I have since moved realm to play with friends from University and walker (who never actually put his main in the guild) has joined a different guild so naturally… meh. The plugins related to the guild will be turned off and hidden but not removed. I still have hope for it but I’m kinda enjoying the other guild I’m in now.
Since progress and development of the site are on a backburner. I haven’t given much thought to the current forum set-up but I’m not too happy with the limited feature set that the current forum plugin provides and would perfer a fully featured forum integrated directly into the blog without too much hassle while still providing all the required functionality, but this isn’t very high on my to-do-list and will probably be covered in the theme update when I secure funds.

As most of you know, it’s been a good few months since we have had a CS:S team here at Advance gamers, well we are glad to announce the break is over and we have a new lineup.

Ghosty EDIT: Since coming over to us. The CSS team has lost one member due to life issues and removed another due to other reasons. They are currently trialing new members and should be back up to full strength in a couple of weeks
I have added a Plug-in to the website which pulls the guild data from the wow database and displays it on the site, I need to check a couple of things and make sure it does more than just list the members(ok so it links you to the wow armory page, could be worse, it just redirects people away from our site, thats not too bad …) .
I did add a guild recruitment widget too but removed that and decided to put that social networking plugin that runs our forum to better use, so when someone registers our site they have the option to enter a few wow related details and you can access these on the edit profile page if your already registered.
I’ll be adding a wow recruitment forum to the forums and making recruitment templates (ok its not as high tech as some guild sites out there built on frameworks designed for this sort of thing, but this is more fun 
) We wont ofc be enforcing site based registration just yet but its good to get the groundwork down.
I just need your feedback on where to go from here, no feedback = im just not going to bother and just work on my own projects instead…
So almost every member of Advance Gamers now activity plays World of Sh*tcraft… sorry f*ckcraft… umm wankercramp… that one will do.
We have all started/continued/relocated our main/first/second/third/100th characters to the realm of Stormrage and we all fly the flag of the Horde… oh my god, what have we come too…
Anyway, feel free to look me up, my mains name is Mehish, Holy cow naturally, and im hardly offline, unless im sleeping, working or my internet is playing with its own balls instead of working.
We will still try and remain active on the cod4 side but with half the team fucking around on WoW, theres only so much we can do.

Breaking News: Advance Gamers seek new ‘active’ CoD4 Team… Next on FML!
Let me just say happy new year everyone. It’s been a quiet one here at AG, at least for the second part. It’s also been a rough year with plenty of ups and downs but I think we’ve made it through fairly intact. Ok so we’ve gotten smaller but sh*t happens.
We are in talks with a CSS team at the moment and with all hopes they will be joining us shortly. The cod4 team is planning to recruit for i42 and T-Shirts for this year have been sent to our sponsor Advance Technologies for a look over. I’m making arrangements for a new logo to lead us into the new year on a high.
I’m also going to begin hunting for funds to pay for a professionally designed and built website to replace this current one which is a temporary one and has also meant to be a temporary one.

We caught one during a mix , unfornuately he was already banned via GV and it was before I turn Enforce EBL’s on so, we gave extra evidence but didnt get the ban count 
Just in case anyone was wondering..
Advance Gamers are still going and still active. The reason the site seems so inactive is because, well, because it is. Neither me nor MiB have the time to keep the site updated and with so little going on within Advance Gamers at the moment, there seems little point keeping the site up-to-date.
Myself and MiB are looking into getting a reviews section up and running in the next few weeks, once MiB has a few more reviews written and checked over.Naturally, I wouldnt mind doing some reviews but unlike MiB, I dont have access to the goodies and any reviews I do would probably be in video format since I’m not a strong writer.
The remaining i41 posts are still on draft, I never got around to finishing them due to CBA, I’ll do it eventually.
